October 13 at 7:00 PM
November 10 at 7:00 PM
December 8 at 7:00 PM - Holiday Potluck and Gift Exchange ($10 gift, not a white elephant)
Leaders: Send the blog link to your troop's parents! I will give the first 10 parents who post the following to the blog a 100th anniversary gift:
1. One activity you would like to see the Service Unit do to celebrate Girl Scouting's 100th anniversary.
2. First name, last initial, troop number
It will be a small gift - I'm not independently wealthy - but who doesn't like free swag!
Must be parents from the Dixie Service Unit.
I'd love to see a good ol' traditional bonfire and marshmallow roast, complete with camp songs and perhaps even a few skits. We could even throw in a very brief history of scouting over the last century. I think it could be a lot of fun on the Service Unit level, involving girls of all ages.
