Great Programming in Southern Utah

I attended two excellent programs this weekend.

The sleepover for older scouts had the perfect blend of programming and free time.  Girls participated in a Girl Scout version of "Clue", made jewlery, tried their hand at knitting, played games, danced, snacked and had a great sleepover!

The Fall Day Camp at Tonaquint Park was perfectly orchestrated.  Girls moved around the park participating in crafts, relay races and a scavenger hunt.  They ate lunch, sang camp songs, traded SWAPS, and made new friends.

Leave a comment if you participated in either of these events - tell us what you think!

Want to particpate in some of our excellent programming??  Check out the top of this page for upcoming events!

  1. The events both looked to be super! How do I know? I saw smiling, happy, engaged, lively girls at both events. (And tired leaders at the end!) Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make the events successful, especially on tbe same weekend.

And a special thanks to the parents who support their daughters in Girl Scouting. The expense and the time and the effort is repaid when you see the girls develop new skills, make new friends, and have so much fun!

  2. The sleepover was only our second Girl Scout event for my new Junior Juliette, and she says it was better than the Zoo Snooze. Now that's saying something!
